General Windows The majority of the windows we sell are made by Milgard and Anderson. We also carry other brands such as JELD-WEN, previously known as Pozzi. Each manufacturer has their own section on this page below with information about their windows. Milgard Windows | Anderson Windows
Milgard offers vinyl, aluminum and woodclad windows to its customers. Since these different window types vary widely, they have been seperated below: Vinyl Windows Milgard has set the industry standard for vinyl window strength, architectural beauty and energy performance. In fact, independent studies have shown Milgard is perceived as having the highest quality of any other vinyl window in the country. (Builder Magazine - Brand User Study - April 1998, 1999, 2000.) A quick look at a Milgard vinyl window and you'll notice the difference immediately. Precision welded corners. Hardware that leads the industry in security, function and beauty. And best of all, the red window label that has defined customer service for the entire industry. Whether you're choosing one window or a whole houseful, our vinyl windows will continue to perform for as long as you own your home. We guarantee it. It begins with a compound. Each additive to a company's vinyl recipe helps determine the long-term characteristics of the final product. Its weatherability and resistance to implact, for example. Or how it handles the summer heat and winter chill. That's why Milgard uses only the best quality materials, at optimal levels, whatever the price. Tested to extremes. Then beyond. Things like processing stress, heat reversion and impact resistance are pretty tough to spot - until it's too late. So we challenge our vinyl profiles against climates and conditions like you've never seen (on this planet.) Like our 180° F heat reversion test. Or our brutal 300° F blister test. Closer to conditions you're used to, we routinely test our vinyl window material in the intense heat of the Nevada desert, in corrosive coastal regions and in the frigid cold of Alaska. All to make sure your windows perform flawlessly. No matter where they end up. Sometimes, you just have to do it yourself. Milgard owns and operates the most advanced vinyl extrusion facility in North America. So we have all this technology, talent and equipment in-house. As a result, we have complete control over quality and testing. Milgard Classic Series Vinyl Windows Our Classic Series was designed as an alternative to a wood window, and as such, the bold design and clean lines offer a painted millwork look. But unlike wood windows, they can't rot or warp. And they will never need painting or require excessive maintenance.
Features (see above picture)
Milgard Aluminum Windows meet or exceed every standard in the industry for air and water infiltration, forced entry and thermal performance. And when it comes to design, Milgard Aluminum Windows are ideal for applications where maximum glass area is desired. Our extruded aluminum frames are strong, durable and never need painting. They're ideal for just about every home. In any climate. Choose from standard and custom shapes, garden windows, radius styles - even bays and bows. All custom built to fit your window openings. What's more, like all our products, our aluminum windows are guaranteed for as long as the original owner owns the home. That goes for properly installed replacement windows as well. So you can be confident knowing your windows are backed by the West's largest window company.
Wood Windows Welcome to the next generation of fine wood windows. Milgard's WoodClad line suits not only the architectural purist, but the architectural relist as well. WoodClad is an innovative combination of the best materials to create the most durable, practical, beautiful window available today. A perfect blending of the ultimate materials We've looked. But there's simply no single material that can make the ultimate window. That's why we've combined the best materials available to make our best window. WoodClad. Inside, where it matters most, clear vertical grain Douglas Fir warms the interiors with a look you just can't achieve with pine. Only the most select wood makes the cut for a WoodClad window. We're so picky, we actually count the number of annual growth rings per inch to maintain quality and consistency. Outside, we use pure, pultruded fiberglass, which is extremely durable, is always square, and has strength and energy saving characters that surpass aluminum, wood and vinyl. The result is a window that truly blends the best materials, inside and out. WoodClad. A more beautiful window One look at a Milgard WoodClad window and you'll notice a difference immediately. The warm tones and richness of fir makes an ordinary pine window look, well, ordinary. Vertical grain Douglas Fir is known by craftsman for its superior characteristics, such as resisting dents and scratches, accepting stains with consistency and ease, and an extraordinary look that lasts and lasts. Our vertical grain fir is then onlayed to pultruded fiberglass to make a window that can't be surpassed in combined strength, beauty and versatility. A better window When it comes to the details, we don't stop at the wood we use. For example, thanks to some ingenious engineering, WoodClad Windows have no unsightly staple or nail holes that are so common in ordinary wood windows. Our customer focus means liner widths that fit your job with no extra jamb extensions required. We even use only solid stainless steel screws throughout the window, so there's nothing to corrode or reust. Ever. Custom shapes, sizes and grids If you can dream it, we can build it. Every WoodClad window is custom built to your order, even standard sizes. So whether it's a small bathroom window, or a large feature window, your WoodClad window receives the same quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. WoodClad offers a variety of standard grid configurations, or we can customize a grid to your design. Custom hardware WoodClad hardware is available in Clay or White, or you can upgrade to a brass finish. It is tailor-made for our window system. And screens come color matched to your hardware. The perfect finish Inside, the clear vertical grain fir offers a finish like no other window. Whether it's a simple varnish or a rich stain, WoodClad windows can be personalized to match any interior trim package. Endless possibilities Since every WoodClad window is custom made to your order, you're not limited to standard glazing options. Choose from Low-E, laminated glass, a variety of tints, or even Heat Mirror, in any standard or custom window size.
